Lessons for at-home learning February 8th and 9th

For the home group, your job is to practice factoring. I have left an entire section on factoring for you to go over which can be found here as well as the main pre-calculus 11 page. I encourage you to pick the section you are uncomfortable with, watch the videos, and practice the problems. You can also check your solutions along the way.

For the home group on February 10th and 11th

  1. Finish the factoring worksheet that was given to you in class. It can also be found here. 
  2. Watch the videos to the left on simplifying rational expressions. Take notes along the way and try the problems to better your understanding of the material. Do not complete the assigned questions at the end yet. We will be working on those when you return to class the next day.

  1. Please finish the textbook questions that were started yesterday. They will be checked when you are back in class. The questions were on pages 317-321 and were #3-4, 6-10, 13-15, 17(a,b),21, 25, 26(b)

  2. Please complete the handout sheet that is attached to the left. It is additional practice on simplifying rational expressions.
